TTC Outing at Midnight

It has been awhile since I blogged in any form but I thought today's outing was a little special and warranted a post.

We meet at 12 midnight, no thanks to yours truly. I might have inherited some of Tb's 'tu tu tu' skills, having been in close contact with him for the past three months. We are, unfortunately, colleagues, you see. Yup, so I was late by an hour and ran all the way from Plaza Singapura to Paradiz Centre to meet up with AO, Tb and edDIE. Running these days require much effort but apparently my friends thought little about the extra effort I put in, in trying to be on time.

We scouted around the vicinity desperate for a LAN shop that afforded a cool environment, late hours and four computers. None in that area fitted the bill and edDIE had to audacity to propose hauling our asses halfway across the island to his place to LAN. That bugger, in my opinion, is getting out of hand. Have to fix him up someday soon.

In the end, we settled for the shop we usually patronize and blasted each other in rounds of CS until closing time. Did a mad dash across the road to the famous Rochor Tau Huay shops along Selegie. It wasn't really satisfying because what we were served were the leftovers of the day and it kinda sucked. But I was hungry and there wasn't any food within sight, except for the Tau Huay.

Wisely chose to wait for the traffic light with Tb while walking back to the carpark, which AO and I had some trouble to fnd. edDIE and AO dashed across the road again, albeit the green man was flashing this time. Marginally safer, but still looked like they really didn't want to make it pass today.

And we parted ways as AO and I collected the cars. edDIE still has my certificates and I wonder what / where AO and Tb are doing / are now.
