i just received a letter from the school, who have kindly reminded me to return the blazer.

'if you have lost the itmes, please be informed ... blah blah ... Blazer = $100.00, if you do not return the borrowed items or pay the amount for any lost items, the following action will be taken. JC2: testimonial will be withheld until item is returned or payment made ... understand the firm action is to be taken ... expected to be responsible.'

yea ... its a threat.

just like the terrorists, they strike fear into hearts of poor souls who have just merely forgotten to return the stuff and when they wanted to, the council room is closed.
